Tributes have been paid to a \u2018beautiful daughter, sister, mother and auntie\u2019 who died in Clacton, Essex<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Rachel Dixon, 49,\u00a0died after being seriously injured in Skelmersdale Road<\/a>, a residential street near the city\u2019s railway station, on March 21. <\/p>\n

She was given CPR at the scene but was declared dead soon after ambulance crews arrived at 11.30am.<\/p>\n

Rachel\u2019s family paid tribute to her today, saying she will be \u2018greatly missed\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018Our beautiful daughter, sister, mother and auntie, who will be greatly missed by all who was taken away from us far too soon,\u2019 they said.<\/p>\n

\u2018Please respect our privacy at this time.\u2019<\/p>\n

Detective Chief Inspector Greg Wood added: \u2018My thoughts are with Rachel\u2019s family at this incredibly difficult time.<\/p>\n

\u2018Our officers will be supporting them while our work continues in this investigation.\u2019<\/p>\n

Rachel\u2019s son, Oliver Grange, who was taken to hospital in a \u2018serious condition\u2019, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.<\/p>\n

Grange, of Skelmersdale Road, will appear before Chelmsford Crown Court on April 25.<\/p>\n
