stealing \u00a3100 worth of <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/easter\/\">Easter<\/a> eggs from <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/tesco\/\">Tesco<\/a> before getting trapped inside the supermarket.<\/p>\n<p>Jordon King, 28, admitted three counts of shop theft and was jailed for eight weeks at Nottingham Magistrates\u2019 Court on Friday for the <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/crime-news\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">crime<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>CCTV footage showed the crook entering Tesco Express on Alfreton Road, Radford, Notts., on February 27, with another man.<\/p>\n<p>From there, King grabbed Easter eggs off the shelves before trying to run out of the store, his arms overflowing with the chocolate goodies.<\/p>\n<p>King tried to force open the glass door, which had been locked by security, before placing his six eggs on the floor. <\/p>\n<p>His accomplice then barged the door off its hinges and squeezed himself outside, before lifting the door to let King escape with the eggs.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div
