A man has pleaded guilty to murdering two women in Milton Keynes during a Christmas Day attack that seriously injured two others.

Jazwell Brown, 49, stabbed Joanne Pearson, 38, and Teohna Grant, 24, to death with a kitchen knife on Santa Cruz Avenue, Bletchley, last December 25.

He also tried to kill Bradley Latter, 29, and a teenage boy. Both were taken to hospital.

‘[Teohna] was a kind, caring young woman who was hard-working and was very shy at times, but she was a bubbly person & very ambitious’, a friend Aaron Ivens said on a GoFundMe launched to raise money for her family.

‘This was a tragic event that has caused so much pain for the family and community around us.’

Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Brangwin said: ‘Jazwell Brown is a dangerous man and I am glad that he has pleaded guilty, accepting responsibility for his actions that day, but the deaths of Joanne and Teohna cannot be undone.

‘This was a brutal attack on his own partner and neighbour, in their respective homes, where they should have been able to feel safe and secure.’
