black SUV ploughed into a group of people throwing them into the air.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the car, Johnathan Newbury, 33, decided to ram into them because of an argument over the double booking of an <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/airbnb\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">Airbnb<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Abdalrhman Ali and Ryan Jones had booked the Airbnb in a rental spot called \u2018Comfortable Stay\u2019 for a weekend break to see friends in <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/cardiff\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">Cardiff<\/a> in July last year.<\/p>\n<p>But when they arrived, Newbury was already there with a friend called Elliot Fiteni and a row broke out.<\/p>\n<p>In the footage, Abdalrhman and Ryan are hit, while their other friends manage to dodge out of the way.<\/p>\n<p>Abdalrhman injured his right foot and pelvis while Ryan lost consciousness and injured his ribs, chest, abdomen and jaw.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutor James Wilson said the pair were warned by a woman at the property that Newbury would \u2018bomb\u2019 them.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The meaning of this term became clear from what then happened,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n<figure people<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He said four or five men arrived in the black SUV, while some got out and another clutched on to a zombie-style machete. <\/p>\n<p>They chased Abdalrhman and Ryan and shouted: \u2018I\u2019m going to f***ing rip these little f***ers up.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Fiteni admitted he was one of the people who was in the car.<\/p>\n<p>Newbury, from Cardiff, was found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div Fiteni was found not guilty.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Jeremy Jenkins adjourned Newbury\u2019s sentencing to take place on April 11 at Cardiff Crown Court.<\/p>\n<p>He told him: \u2018You have been found guilty of serious offences.
